What is the Underground Party Broadcast?
The idea behind The Underground Party Broadcast is a familiar one: to create and record a live music show featuring performances and interviews with artists as a medium for them to reach and treat their audiences, and more importantly, for a whole new audience to access and discover them.
Why another one?
Because this time round, we have something unique to offer that a whole community of fans are baying for. There is a true undercurrent of fantastic alternative British music that exists just beneath the attention of the major media, but all importantly, does already have the attention of a huge number of people.
The audiences for these bands already exist, what they lack is community. They chat on forums and pass on knowledge by word of mouth from show to show, but have no decent media mouth piece to bring them together.
Enter UPB.
Why should we have to wait until a bands sound comes into fashion before they can reach their wider audience, or even have their existing one acknowledged and catered for? The answer: we don’t.
To create a quality show where this scene can come together from its disparate parts and thrive, takes nothing more than a few people with skills, equipment, time and devotion.
